Ladies and gents, this is the moment you’ve been waiting for: The show-stopping opening number from this year’s gob-smackingly good Christmas show.
Claddagh's Greatest Show: All the backstage fun
It wasn’t just the audiences that enjoyed themselves at “Claddagh’s Greatest Show” - the children all had great craic getting into costume and make-up before their stage debut on Wednesday, 19th December.
And now.... Claddagh's Greatest Show('s Dress Rehearsal)
There was just so much to see at this year’s Senior Christmas show, we’re going to have to ration the pictures out piece by piece.
What can be said of “Claddagh’s Greatest Show”? Simply this: It more than lived up to its name.
Apart from that, we’ll let the pictures tell the story of the almost unbelievable amount of work, preparation, skill and talent that came together to create this, a production that could easily hold its own against any other, up to and including on a national stage.
Special credit, of course, must go to Ms. Rosemary Ledwith, the creative and executive driving force behind the entire production: Her talent, hard work and organisational skill was truly awe-inspiring. Ok, we’ll let the pictures speak for themselves now. Here, first of all, are a few choice shots from the dress rehearsal on Tuesday, 18th December.
Bah, humbug! It's the Rang a Dó Show!
Both children and parents were highly impressed by the extremely high quality of Ms. Parkinson’s and Ms. McDonald’s Second Class Show, “A Christmas Carol”. With such a high standard of preparation, props, singing and acting, this was yet another example of hard work, talent and enthusiasm combining to create a great experience for all here at Claddagh School.
Rang a 1 Spells it Out For Us
Ms. Barrett and Ms. Mitchell’s First Class children proved to be, well, first-class, when they wowed us all with their seasonal spectacular.
Stable Genius! Ms. Ferguson's Senior Infants Christmas Show
Ms. Ferguson’s Senior Infants fairly rocked the Nativity with their magnificent show.
Mr. Thornton's Senior Infants get wriggly for the Nativity
Famous for his running, but less-well-known for his considerable dancing skills, Mr. Thornton nonetheless choreographed a cracking show with his class for the Senior Infants Christmas show this year.
Junior Infants Christmas Show
Angels, wise men, Mary, Joseph and, of course, a few sheep and a donkey. What else, but our marvellous Junior Infants telling the tale of the Nativity, but with an extra serving of cute!
